What to Do If It Rains on Your Wedding Day

When it rains, it pours. And that means that your wedding might have to be moved indoors.

Whether you're planning the ceremony or the reception, you should make sure you have a backup plan in case of rain. If you're getting married outside, you can bring an umbrella for each guest and make sure there are umbrellas available for them to use if they get caught in the rain.

If you're having a ceremony indoors, make sure you have an alternative location nearby where everyone can move if they need to. You should also ask vendors whether they have rain gear that they can lend out on rainy days—but no matter how prepared you are, keep in mind that even the best-laid plans may go awry!

Here are some tips to help deal with a rainy day

  1. Bring a clear umbrella. With this, you can still take some amazing rain pictures.
  2. Make sure you have a Plan B to where you can move your wedding inside.
  3. Just go with the flow and just dance in the rain!!
